New Sunday Morning Schedule

Beginning Sunday January 3rd, 2010 we will have a new schedule!

The participants at our schedule conversation meeting – open to all members of the congregation – on November 10th, produced several possible Sunday morning schedule scenarios. The Board of Deacons, with input from other Boards and Committees, carefully considered each of the proposals and made a recommendation to the Council at the December 9th meeting. The schedule presented by the Deacons and approved by Council is as follows:

• 9:30 am to 10:30 am Traditional Worship
• 10:30 am to 11:30 am Open Fellowship Time
• 10:45 am to 11:15 am Sunday School (& Adult Ed. when offered)
• 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Contemporary Worship

Nursery care will be offered from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Planning is still in process for children’s activities during both worship services.

We are aware that this schedule involves compromise for many but we hope that all will work together to make our Sunday mornings a time of meaningful and comfortable worship, fellowship and education.
