Nursery Childcare (0-4yrs)
Our Nursery Childcare room provides a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for infants through 4-year-olds. Led by our dedicated Nursery Teacher and supported by trusted members of the Boise First community, we offer age-appropriate care, comfort, play, and gentle learning, all tailored to meet each child’s unique needs. Every member of our childcare team is not only familiar to our church family but also deeply caring, ensuring your child is in capable, loving hands. All team members have completed thorough background checks as part of our denomination's safety standards to protect the well-being of your little ones.
Mothers seeking a quiet space or a place to nurse are welcome to use the Fireside Room or the nursery. Children of all ages are always invited to join us in the worship service!

Sunday School Class (KG-7th Grade)
Our School Age Sunday School class welcomes children from Kindergarten through 7th grade, meeting from September through May during the 10am worship service. Using the Godly Play curriculum, we introduce children to the rich stories and traditions of the Christian faith in an engaging and interactive way. Through hands-on experiences, storytelling, and creative activities, children are invited to explore God's love and learn how these stories relate to their lives.
On the first Sunday of each month, all school-age children join their families for Communion, a meaningful time to participate in the sacred tradition together. Additionally, on these first Sundays, our class is part of an all-church service that emphasizes intergenerational worship, offering a chance for children to engage with the entire congregation in a way that fosters community and connection across generations.

Confirmation Class (11-18 Years)
Our Confirmation Class is a special opportunity for young people between the ages of 11 and 18 to explore and deepen their faith in a supportive and engaging environment. The purpose of this class is to provide a space for students to ask questions, explore the Christian faith, and reflect on what it means to be a member of the church community. Through discussions, activities, and spiritual practices, participants will grow in their understanding of God, the church, and their own role in the world.
Parents, if you're interested in enrolling your child in the Confirmation Class or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Rev. Josh.

Yes, all volunteers in our children's ministry program undergo a comprehensive background check to ensure the safety and well-being of our children. For our children's ministry, we use Godly Play, a creative and engaging curriculum that invites children into the stories of our faith. Godly Play is centered on wonder, exploration, and spiritual discovery, allowing children to experience Bible stories in a way that fosters imagination and curiosity. Through storytelling, art, and hands-on activities, children engage with sacred stories and learn to ask big questions.
This progressive Christian approach emphasizes the importance of questioning and seeking, rather than simply providing answers. It allows children to explore the mysteries of faith and develop a personal connection with the stories of the Bible. We believe that faith is a journey of discovery, and Godly Play helps create an environment where children feel safe to wonder, explore, and grow in their spiritual understanding.
